Please read this before your visit. You can ask questions before you agree.
What telehealth is
Telehealth means getting care from a physician by video or phone instead of in person.
Benefits and risks
Benefits include convenience and faster access. Risks include limits on the physical exam, technology problems, and privacy risks with electronic communication. Your physician may decide you need in-person care or tests.
Your choices
- Taking part is voluntary, and you may stop at any time.
- You may choose in-person care instead.
- You must be in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, or Virginia during your visit.
Emergencies
Telehealth isn’t for emergencies. Call 911 if you think you’re having one.
Privacy
We use systems designed to protect your information. See our Privacy Practices.
Your agreement
By starting a visit, you confirm you understand this information and agree to receive care by telehealth.
