Prescribing is always a clinical decision. Some conditions need an in-person exam or tests, and we’ll tell you when that’s the case. Controlled substances are prescribed only where federal and state telehealth rules allow.
Weight loss, medically supervised
We prescribe only medications approved by the FDA for chronic weight management. We don’t offer compounded versions. Which option fits you depends on your history, other medications, and insurance or budget.

Select a medication name to read its FDA-approved prescribing information on DailyMed (opens in a new tab). Medication is one part of a plan. Results vary, and side effects such as nausea can occur. Your physician will go over risks, who shouldn’t take each drug, and what to expect before you start. Availability depends on your evaluation.

Common questions
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. Your physician prescribes only when it’s medically appropriate. If it isn’t, you’ll get an explanation and next steps. [Describe your refund policy for the visit fee.]
Do you prescribe antibiotics?
When your symptoms point to a bacterial infection and virtual care is safe. Many illnesses, like colds and most sore throats, are viral and don’t improve with antibiotics. We’ll say so, and recommend ways to feel better.
Do you accept insurance?
[Visit fees: $XX. State whether you’re cash-pay, whether you provide superbills, and how medication coverage works.]
Which states do you serve?
Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Virginia. You must be physically in one of these states during your visit.
Is my information private?
Yes. We use HIPAA-compliant systems for visits, messaging, and records. See our Privacy Practices.
